Common Name: Allee® Chinese Elm, Lacebark Elm

A deciduous to semi-evergreen, vase-shaped shade tree with an upright, arching canopy reminiscent of classic elm form. Small dark green leaves cast filtered shade, and mature trunks develop ornamental exfoliating bark in gray, tan, orange-brown, and green tones. Noted for resistance to Dutch elm disease and adaptability to urban conditions, including varied soils and both wet and dry sites.
