A tender evergreen, clumping herbaceous perennial with a compact, upright habit. Strap-like leaves are striped green, cream, and pink with purple undersides, providing year-round foliage contrast in frost-protected plantings and interiorscapes. Small white flowers are held in boat-shaped bracts near the leaf bases. Performs well in well-drained potting media and is useful for containers, shaded patios, and indoor plantings.
