An evergreen perennial that forms a rounded mound. Edible, gray leaves are small, oval and aromatic. Tall stalks carry elaborate whorls of fragrant, two-lipped, glowing blue-violet flowers held in pink bracts. Blooms from spring to summer. Attracts pollinators and beneficial insects. Native to California.
