Common Name: Japanese Flowering Crabapple

A deciduous tree with a broad, horizontally spreading crown. Leaves are mid-green, roughly oval and pointed with serrated margins. In spring, masses of deep pink buds open to single white flowers. Attracts bees. Clusters of small, yellow to red, apple-like fruits persist throughout fall. Attracts birds and other wildlife. Disease-resistant.
