Common Name: California Showy Milkweed

A deciduous herbaceous perennial with broad gray-green leaves and upright stems. Rounded clusters of fragrant pink flowers bloom in summer and provide nectar for pollinators while supporting monarch larvae. Useful in meadows, restoration sites, and habitat gardens. Performs best with well-drained soil and occasional irrigation during establishment.
