An evergreen vining shrub with a sprawling growth habit that can climb with provided support. Leaflets are feather-shaped and glossy dark green. Showy trumpet-shaped flowers bloom in clusters of bright orange-red. Blooms from fall through spring. Attracts hummingbirds.
