A charming, ornamental deciduous tree offering a fragrant springtime show of small, white, flowers dangling from deep red stems. New leaves emerge in shades of deep, plum purple and mature to dark green. A slow growth habit leads to an upright, vase-shaped canopy. Attracts local pollinators.
