A semi-evergreen perennial with an upright, clumping growth habit. Grassy leaves are flattened and dull green. Flowers bloom from late spring to early summer on branched stalks above the foliage. Flowers are small, six-petaled, trumpet-shaped and bright yellow. Self-sows. Native to California.
