A warm-season, vase-like ornamental grass, one of the the smallest dwarfs available. Showy, buff-white flower panicles are fuzzy, fluffy and bottlebrush-like. From late summer into fall, the feathery plumes top slender, green leaf blades. Foliage turns golden-brown in fall. Fine in containers. Tolerates poor soils and drought once established.
