Shimmering pink flower heads float above this clumping, warm-season perennial grass and fade to cream as seeds form. Blue-green leaves may turn red or purple in cool weather. Use it in dry drifts, containers, or meadow edges. Full sun, lean soil, and limited water keep stems upright; seedlings may appear where ripe seed drops.
