Common Name: Hawaii Magic Cone Bush

An evergreen shrub with multiple, unbranched, upright stems and a rounded, bushy form. Lance-shaped leaves are dusty shades of grey-green, and reddish plum. Foliage turns ornamental red in fall. Brighter yellow spring flowers bloom abundantly at branch tips, surrounded by creamy yellow leaf like bracts. Long-lasting cut flower. Likes acidic soils. Does not tolerate phosphorous fertilizers.
