A deciduous tree with a rounded, bushy form. Circular leaves with 9 - 13 lobes emerge bright yellow in spring and become yellow-green in summer. Fall brings an array of gold to orange-red foliage. Reddish-purple spring flowers give way to red samaras, which point upward. Native to Japan. Can tolerate full shade.
