A graceful deciduous tree with a spreading canopy and arching, cascading branches. Leaves are palmately lobed with sharply toothed edges. New growth is rosy pink. Summer foliage matures to whitish green with variegated green veins and edges. Coloration ages to yellow and gold in fall. Inconspicuous spring flowers are followed by pairs of samaras. Needs slightly acidic soil.
