Common Name: Fireglow Japanese Maple

A low-branching deciduous tree with palmate leaves that divide into 5 to 9 pointed lobes. Glowing red foliage does not fade in summer heat. In the fall, leaves become purple-green. Inconspicuous spring flowers are followed by pairs of samaras. Needs slightly acidic soil.
