A dwarf deciduous tree with tiny palmate leaves. Leaf arrangements are very compact and dense, which gives the tree a very rounded form. Rich green leaves turn orange to scarlet in fall. Small, inconspicuous flowers in spring are followed by pairs of samaras. Needs slightly acidic soil, pH 5.5 - 6.5.
