A small, bushy deciduous tree with deeply-lobed palmate leaves that grow in clumped arrangements. Foliage is burgundy-red in summer and bright scarlet in fall. A dwarf version of 'Bloodgood.' Inconspicuous spring flowers are followed by pairs of samaras. Needs slightly acidic soil.
