A compact deciduous tree with dense foliage. Small, palmate leaves emerge in chartreuse with orange margins, then mature to bright green in summer. Fall foliage turns to yellow and orange. Inconspicuous spring flowers are followed by pairs of samaras. Needs slightly acidic soil.
