Common Name: Japanese Maple

A low-branching deciduous tree with a vase-like form that broadens to a rounded canopy. Deeply-lobed, palmate leaves are lush green in summer. Fall foliage turns a classic orange-red palette. Tiny, reddish-purple flowers are followed by samaras that develop in late summer to early fall. Needs slightly acidic soil.
