A semi-evergreen perennial that forms a compact clump. Gray-green leaves are slender, soft and fragrant. Dark purple, upright stalks carry spikes of fuzzy, two-lipped flowers in purple. Blooms from late spring to fall. Attracts pollinators and beneficial insects. Cold hardy.
