A semi-evergreen shrub that forms a slowly spreading mound, more compact than the species. Dark gray-green leaves are lance-shaped, white and hairy flowers held in fuzzy, deep purple calyxes. Blooms from spring through fall in mild climates. Attracts hummingbirds, other pollinators and beneficial insects. Native to Mexico.
