A perennial with a rounded, mounding growth habit that spreads slowly by underground runners. Silvery-gray leaves are small, textured, and fragrant. Upright stems carry small two-lipped flowers in dark violet-blue. Blooms in summer. Attracts pollinators and beneficial insects. Cold hardy.
