Common Name: White Catawba Rhododendron

An evergreen shrub with a vigorous habit. Mid to late spring bloom. Funnel-shaped flowers grow in conical-shaped trusses. Flowers are white with a pale yellow-green blotch. Buds are pink. Attracts butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. Dark green leaves are elliptic and leathery. Ironclad hybrid withstands cold. Hardy to -25 degrees F. Needs acidic soil, pH 4.5 - 6.0.
