A warm-season ornamental grass with a compact, densely clumped form. Fuzzy, pink flower plumes are long, feathery and bottlebrush-like. Blooms start in early summer, slowly maturing to a tan color well into fall. Fine-textured foliage is light grayish-green, turning a dormant straw-brown in winter. Tolerates summer-dry conditions as well as coastal climates. Spreads slowly via rhizomes. Drought tolerant once established.
