A perennial groundcover that spreads aggresively by rhizomes. Foliage is deep green and slender. Luminous pink flowers are large, fragrant, silky, and cupped. Blooms in abundance from spring into summer. Native to western North America. Often dormant at the peaks of summer and winter.
