An evergreen shrub with a mounding growth habit. Abundant, showy, ruffled, trumpet-shaped flowers come in dark pinky-red. Foliage is leathery and deep green. Glenn Dale hybrid. Can tolerate full shade. Needs acidic soil, pH 4.5 - 6.0.
