An evergreen fruit tree with upright growth and Type B flowers. Large pear-shaped fruit has black skin at maturity, a small seed, and rich creamy flesh. Useful as a pollenizer for Type A cultivars, including winter-ripening plantings. Performs best with excellent drainage, mulch, and regular irrigation.
