Common Name: Big Red Kangaroo Paw

An upright, evergreen clumping perennial with iris-like green foliage and tall flower stems. Fuzzy, rich red tubular flowers rise above the foliage from spring through fall, often nearly year-round near the coast. Best performance comes with full sun, well-drained soil, regular irrigation, and light spring feeding with low phosphorus.
