Botanical Name: Agave bovicornuta

Common Name: Cow Horn Agave

A small to mid-size succulent species, native to Mexico. Yellow-green leaves are lined with teeth, and imprinted with the teeth of other leaves. A scarlet-brown, needle-sharp spine punctuates the tip of each leaf. After several years, an astoundingly tall flower stalk arises, potentially reaching up to around 20 feet high. Does not form offsets.
