An evergreen, upright desert tree with a rounded canopy and silvery gray-green phyllodes. Small golden flowers and rugged drought tolerance make it useful for arid landscapes, habitat plantings, and climate-adapted streetscapes. It is best placed in well-drained mineral soil with deep, infrequent irrigation after establishment.
