Common Name: Sawleaf Zelkova, Japanese Zelkova

A fast-growing deciduous tree with a vase-shaped crown. Bark is smooth and gray in youth, and reveals a red-brown color with age. Deep green, pointed, oblong, leaves are named for their saw-toothed edges. In fall, foliage turns rusty-red. Good disease resistance.
