Botanical Name: Solanum rantonnetii, Lycianthes rantonnetii

Common Name: Paraguay Nightshade, Potato Bush

An evergreen shrub with arching branches and a sprawling habit. Can be trained as a vine or tree. Slender leaves are mid-green. From spring to fall, salver-shaped flowers bloom in violet with yellow centers. Fruits ripen in fall. All parts are toxic.
