A semi-evergreen perennial with a low, sprawling growth habit. Green leaves are narrow and fragrant. Upright stems carry two-lipped flowers in bright violet. Blooms from summer through fall. Attracts pollinators and beneficial insects. Very similar to S. greggii 'Purple'.
