An herbaceous perennial that forms a compact self-sowing patch of profuse summer-fall blooms. Oversized daisy-like flowers display a dark brown center lance-shaped and hairy. Good cut flower atop a long, sturdy stem. Often grown as an annual. Attracts butterflies and birds.
