Botanical Name: Romneya coulteri 'White Cloud'

Common Name: White Cloud Matilija Poppy

A primary hybrid between Romneya coulteri and Romneya trichocalyx. A large deciduous perennial shrub with an upright form that spreads wider by rhizomes. Large flowers display white crepe-papery petals and poufy yellow gray-green, narrowly lobed, and rough to the touch. Native to Southern California. Introduced by the Theodore Payne Foundation
