Flowers are vibrant red with dark red throats and black spotting. Attracts butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. Dark green leaves are elliptic and leathery. Does well in Northern California. Hardy to -5 degrees F. Needs acidic soil, pH 4.5 - 6.0.
