An evergreen shrub with a vigorous habit. Mid to late spring bloom. Large, funnel-shaped flowers grow in globe-shaped trusses. Flowers are deep pink, faintly spotted in brown. Attracts butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. Matte, olive-green leaves are elliptic and leathery. Dependable and widely adapted. Hardy to -5 degrees F. Needs acidic soil, pH 4.5 - 6.0.
