Common Name: Catherine De La Mare Foothill Penstemon

A perennial with a low, open habit, multi-branching from the base. Blue-green leaves are larger than the species. Spikes of tubular, bell-shaped flowers fade from glistening blue to pinkish-purple. Long bloom cycle from late spring into fall. Attractive to hummingbirds and other pollinators. California native.
