Botanical Name: Pennisetum setaceum 'Eaton Canyon'

Common Name: Dwarf Red Fountain Grass

A hybrid, warm-season ornamental grass with a dwarf, fountain-like form. Feathery, pinkish flower panicles are long, fluffy and foxtail-like. Plumes age to a creamy buff from late summer through fall. Burgundy-bronze-infused foliage is finely textured and upright to arching. Semi-evergreen. May self-sow aggressively, depending on the location. Sometimes sold as 'Red Riding Hood' or 'Rubrum Dwarf.'
