Botanical Name: Parthenocissus quinquefolia

Common Name: Virginia Creeper

A deciduous vine which attaches itself by suction disks at the end of clinging tendrils. Palmate leaves emerge bronzy purple and mature to satiny green, eventually turning brilliant crimson to burgundy in the fall. Dark blue-black berries are attractive to birds.
