Common Name: Free Spirit Yunnan Michelia

An evergreen shrub with a prostrate, weeping form. Broad, oval leaves are dark green. From early spring to summer, fragrant flowers bloom from fuzzy buds. Cup-shaped flowers are creamy white with yellow centers. Fruits follow. Attracts birds. Susceptible to winter burn and leaf drop in cold winters.
