About This Product

Botanical Name: Lippia repens, Phyla nodiflora

Common Name: Common Lippia, Frog Fruit

A low, spreading, semi-evergreen perennial groundcover that forms a dense, walkable mat. Small green leaves spread by rooting stems, with rounded clusters of white to lavender-pink flowers appearing from spring into fall and supporting bees and butterflies. Useful as a low-water lawn alternative, between stepping stones, on banks, and in meadow-style plantings. California native status makes it especially valuable for habitat-focused landscapes. Performs best with occasional deep irrigation for a greener, fuller appearance and adapts to a wide range of soils.
