A deciduous shrub with large and lush, coarsely toothed foliage. Dark reddish black stems hoist large mophead flower clusters above foliage. Flower color ranges from pink if grown in alkaline soil, to blue if grown in acidic soil. Blooms age to creamy light green. Repeat bloomer if spent flowers are removed.
