A Mexican succulent that forms lotus-like rosettes of fleshy, triangular leaves in gray-green with thick, ebony-red edges. Slender flower stalks carry nodding, bell-shaped flowers in red-orange. Flowers provide nectar for pollinators. Best color in full sun.
