A low-maintenance evergreen shrub with profuse blooms that open and drop daily. Single flowers display bright magenta, crepe-paper petals and golden stamens. Leaves are narrow, woolly, and gray-green. Tolerates heat, poor soil, and seaside conditions. Attracts butterflies.
