Common Name: Texas Redbud

A deciduous tree with a low-branching, shrubby growth habit. Broad, roundly heart-shaped, leathery, wavy-edged leaves grow in red to dark green to yellow. Stunning clusters of red, sweetpea-like flowers bloom on bare branchlets in early spring. Native to eastern and central North America.
