Botanical Name: Celtis occidentalis

Common Name: Common Hackberry

A deciduous tree with a tall, upright to arching growth habit and a rounded, shade-giving crown. Leaves are rough, toothed, pointed and medium green. Flowers are small and yellow. Edible fruits mature in fall and resemble small, blackish purple plums. Attracts birds and other wildlife.
