Botanical Name: Camellia x 'Buttermint'

Common Name: Buttermint Camellia

A graceful evergreen shrub with a dense, mounding growth habit. Flowers are slightly fragrant, small, and semi-double or formal. Petals are pale creamy yellow. Stamens are golden yellow. Blooms between C. sasanqua and C. japonica, from late winter to spring. Leaves are leathery, light green, and have finely serrated margins. Needs acidic soil, pH 5.1 - 6.0.
