A woody semi-evergreen shrub with a densely-branched, rounded growth habit. Leaves are deep green and pinnately divided. Flowers resemble fluffy, pinky-red feather dusters with long, silky stamens. Attracts hummingbirds. Hybrid cross between C. californica and C. eriophylla. California native.
