An evergreen shrub to small tree with glossy, toothed green leaves and an upright, arching habit. Fragrant yellow spring flowers are held in small clusters along the stems and attract pollinators. Useful as a screen, espalier, or woodland-edge specimen. Performs best with well-drained soil and moderate to regular irrigation.
