Common Name: George L. Taber (Tabor) Azalea

An evergreen shrub with a vigorous, upright growth habit. Abundant, showy, funnel-shaped flowers come in pale lilac-pink with a darker pink blotch. Foliage is leathery and rich green. More tolerant of sun than other azaleas. Southern Indica hybrid. Can tolerate full shade. Needs acidic soil, pH 4.5 - 6.0.
